Refund Policy
At Daylight Adventures & Safaris, we are dedicated to offering you unforgettable travel experiences in Kenya and beyond. We understand that sometimes plans may change, and we strive to accommodate your needs while ensuring fairness to all parties involved. Below is our updated refund policy outlining the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds.
Booking Deposits
A 30% deposit of the total booking cost is required to secure your reservation.
If you choose to cancel your booking before your departure date, the following refund options apply:
Cancellation made 45 days or more before arrival: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation made within 45 days of arrival: No refund of the deposit.
Please note: A 5% administrative fee will be charged for all refunds. This fee covers costs incurred from booking and subsequently canceling reservations with our partners, including local hotels and airline providers. Additionally, some services, such as flight bookings, may not be refundable depending on airline policies.
Full Payment Option
You have the option to make full payment at the time of booking.
If you choose to cancel your booking before your departure date, the following refund options apply:
Cancellation made 45 days or more before arrival: 60% of the total payment will be refunded.
Cancellation made within 45 days of arrival: No refund of the total payment.
Please note: A 5% cancellation fee will be charged to cover the costs of booking and canceling the reservation. Additionally, some services, such as flight bookings, may not be refundable depending on airline policies.
Payment Schedule for Remaining Balance
The remaining 70% of the total booking cost is due 14 days prior to arrival if the booking is within one country.
If the booking involves travel across two to four countries, the remaining 70% must be paid 25 days prior to arrival to finalize all necessary arrangements.
Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases, such as unforeseen medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, we understand that cancellations may be necessary. If you find yourself in such a situation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assess your case on an individual basis and do our best to assist you.
Currency
All prices and rates are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars (US$), and all payments must be made in US$. Payments in other currencies will only be accepted by pre-arrangement.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our booking team via email at booking@daylightadventures.com. Please provide your booking details and the reason for cancellation. Refund processing times may vary, but we will strive to address your request promptly and fairly.
Please note: Any bank or payment gateway fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refunded amount.
