Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be fast-tracked through the arrival procedures, ensuring a smooth and stress-free start to your adventure. You’ll then be transferred to Hemingways Hotel, an elegant haven in the heart of Nairobi. Here, you can unwind and recover from your journey, enjoying a sumptuous dinner and the luxurious amenities of your accommodation.
Day 2: Nairobi & Meru National Park
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast and a briefing at the hotel. You’ll then be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Meru National Park. This park, lesser-known yet incredibly rich in wildlife, offers a more secluded safari experience. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed at Elewana Elsa’s Kopje, an intimate lodge named after Elsa the lioness, made famous by the film “Born Free.” After lunch, embark on your first game drive, exploring the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Elewana Elsa’s Kopje.
Day 3: Meru National Park
Start your morning with an early game drive, followed by a delightful bush breakfast amidst the wild beauty of Meru. After lunch back at the camp, visit the Rhino Sanctuary, a critical conservation effort protecting these magnificent creatures. The day concludes with scenic sundowners in the bush and a private dinner at the camp, offering a perfect end to a day of exploration. Overnight stay at Elewana Elsa’s Kopje.
Day 4: Meru National Park & Loisaba Conservancy
After breakfast, take a morning hike up Mughwango Hill for breathtaking views of the park. Enjoy a game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight to Loisaba Conservancy. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a VIP welcome and briefing about the conservancy, which is renowned for its innovative conservation efforts and diverse wildlife. Arrive at Loisaba Tented Camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive and sundowners in the bush. Dinner and overnight stay at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp.
Day 5: Loisaba Conservancy
Today, choose from a range of activities: a game drive, a cultural visit to a Samburu village, a guided bush walk, or a horse and camel safari. Seasonal fishing is also available. Enjoy a bush breakfast and a relaxing spa treatment later in the day. After lunch at the camp, embark on an afternoon game drive or another activity of your choice. Dinner and overnight stay at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp.
Day 6: Loisaba Conservancy & Masai Mara
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route to the airstrip for your flight to the world-renowned Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive en route to Sand River Camp, a luxury camp set along the banks of the Sand River. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive, culminating with sundowners in the bush. Dinner and overnight stay at Elewana Sand River Masai Mara.
Day 7: Masai Mara
Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting out on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. This park is famous for its incredible wildlife, including the Big Five, and during certain times of the year, the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic hamper lunch in the bush, and end your day with dinner under the stars at the camp. Overnight stay at Elewana Sand River Masai Mara.
Day 8: Masai Mara & Nairobi
After breakfast at the camp, transfer back to Keekorok Airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to a hotel where a day room will be available for you to freshen up and relax before your outbound flight. Finally, a private ground transfer will take you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure, bringing your unforgettable safari adventure to a close.
