Embark on a captivating 4-day safari that takes you through two of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations: Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. This adventure promises thrilling game drives, stunning landscapes, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Start your journey with the birdlife-rich Lake Nakuru, famous for its flamingos and rhinos, and then move on to the legendary Masai Mara, renowned for its vast savannahs and abundant big game.
If you wish to start your safari directly from the airport, we recommend arriving early in the morning or by late morning, no later than 11:00 AM. The transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru typically takes 3-3.5 hours. If your flight arrives later, we suggest an overnight stay in Nairobi, which can be arranged at an extra cost.
Our package is fully customizable to your preferences. Whether you want to book accommodation in Nairobi before and after the safari, combine flying and overland travel, or add more safari destinations or a Kenyan beach extension, we can tailor the experience to suit your needs.

While our safari packages cover most essentials, there are a few items not included in the base price. These are typically personal expenses, optional activities, or services that vary depending on your preferences. We’re happy to assist with arranging any of these at your request.
Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park. This scenic drive offers a glimpse of Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival, check into The Cliff Camp, one of the luxury accommodations in Lake Nakuru. Perched on a cliff overlooking the lake, this camp offers stunning views and top-notch amenities, making it a perfect spot to relax and immerse yourself in nature. Enjoy lunch at the camp before setting out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s rich birdlife, including flocks of flamingos along the lake’s shores, and keep an eye out for rhinos, lions, and other wildlife. Optional activities include a boat ride on the lake with breakfast or lunch on the boat. Return to The Cliff Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at the Ilkeliani Mara Camp, a luxurious tented camp near the reserve. Ilkeliani Mara Camp offers an authentic safari experience with spacious tents, modern amenities, and spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. After settling in, head out for an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is home to the “Big Five” and offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in the world. As you traverse the vast plains, you’ll have the chance to see lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and a multitude of other species. Return to Ilkeliani Mara Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the incredible wildlife and scenic beauty of the reserve, from the Mara River to the rolling savannahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and continue your game viewing adventure. Return to Ilkeliani Mara Camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.
After breakfast, you have the option to partake in some exciting activities before your departure. Enjoy an early morning hot air balloon safari f which includes a bush breakfast upon landing, or a horse riding experience which can be enjoyed either in the morning with a complimentary bush breakfast or in the evening with sundowners. After these optional activities, check out of Ilkeliani Mara Camp and embark on your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy a scenic drive with a lunch stop along the way, arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon. If you have an evening flight, we will transfer you to the airport, or if you prefer, we can organize accommodation in Nairobi for an additional cost.
